BOLI Design & Sales Support, Service Specialist (hybrid/remote)

Overview Base pay range: $52,000.00/yr - $75,000.00/yr. This is an Associate-Level role and is not a sales role. This full-time position offers a hybrid schedule from one of the following NFP offices: Warrington, PA; Atlanta, GA; Plymouth, MN; or Franklin, TN. Remote consideration may be possible for well-qualified candidates with BOLI experience. This role provides NFP Banking Practice Sales Support by modeling benefit and bank-owned life insurance (BOLI) proposals, evaluating proposed plans to provide accounting and related implementation guidance to clients, and providing review and analysis of proposed benefit plan designs. The position involves collaboration with team members, consultants, and client relationship managers to ensure plan accuracy, quality, and regulatory compliance. The role reports to the Senior Vice President of the Banking Practice and offers mentorship for growth and development.
Job Duties and Requirements BOLI & Financial Considerations:
Understand BOLI product design and appropriate uses
Know Non-Qualified Executive Benefit plans and BOLI funding strategies
Communicate tax, accounting, plan design, and regulatory technical information to Consultants and Client Relationship Managers, and support plan design analysis and product design
Working With Clients & Customers:
Model excellent customer service with internal and external clients by gathering information to understand circumstances, problems, and expectations
Assess how actions or plans affect clients; respond quickly to resolve problems
Seek feedback from manager, team members, and peers
Maintain a professional approach to communication that attracts and retains clients
Employee Conduct:
Take responsibility for actions and demonstrate ethical conduct
Honor commitments and accept responsibility for outcomes
Maintain necessary licenses and certifications and complete required continuing education
Operational Excellence:
Ensure high accuracy and attention to detail in finalizing proposals; collaborate to cross-check data and plan design integrity
Prepare final proposals based on results from Client Relationship Manager and system-generated materials
Coordinate with Client Relationship Managers and Quality Assurance to ensure accurate system data and that final proposals reflect plan design parameters

Education and Qualification Guidelines:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business (Accounting or Finance preferred). Equivalent work experience in banking, insurance, or non-qualified benefit plans may substitute for degree
Experience:
Three to five years of experience in a similar occupation is preferred; experience with BOLI or non-qualified benefit plans is preferred. Comparable experience in banking/financial institutions will be considered
Critical Requirements:
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365, including complex financial modeling in Excel or Power BI
Proficient in Word, SharePoint, Outlook, Teams, and Salesforce CRM
Life insurance license required at hire or within a designated time after hire

The offered salary will depend on factors including experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level, scope of the position, and geographic location.
