Business Development Director – UKG
Can be located anywhere in the continental USA
RSM is seeking a dynamic Business Development Director to join our growing team. This role focuses on selling business application solutions supporting our Human Capital Solutions Consulting Service Line, with a particular emphasis on UKG.
The Business Development Director will lead all aspects of the sales process, including prospect targeting, developing sales strategies, and managing pursuit teams. The role involves building and maintaining sales pipelines, preparing presentations and proposals, closing sales, and finalizing agreements. The director will collaborate with industry and line of business leaders to co-lead growth efforts through prospecting, networking, and participation in industry groups.
This position offers a competitive base salary and an uncapped incentive plan. We seek candidates with a proven track record in selling UKG solutions.
Responsibilities:
Sourcing and qualifying HCM opportunities with untapped companies.
Executing the sales plan and coordinating internal/external resources.
Demonstrating UKG application solutions.
Networking within industry and professional groups.
Identifying and targeting key companies within industry teams.
Supporting cross-selling of additional services to existing clients.
Engaging with UKG sales and partner teams to manage opportunities.
Managing implementation service requests and referrals within RSM.
Coordinating with internal teams on UKG system selection projects.
Co-selling RSM services with vendor sales reps.
Educating prospects on RSM’s value-added services.
Creating and managing Statements of Work (SOW).
Following up on sales processes and maintaining CRM records.
Preferred Qualifications:
Active network of C-level contacts.
Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
Experience in fast-paced sales environments with growth objectives.
Community involvement and activity in industry groups.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
5+ years selling ERP, HCM, or CRM solutions.
2+ years selling UKG and/or implementation services.
Experience with multiple industries and complex sales cycles.
Proficiency with CRM tools and social media for networking.
Excellent negotiation and influence skills.
Self-motivated with strong time management skills.
Willingness to travel as needed.

Compensation Range: $100,000 - $300,000
Eligible for discretionary bonuses based on performance.
