Mayersohn Law Group, P.A. is growing and seeking a polished, relationship‑driven Business Development & Events Manager to expand our network, elevate our visibility, and strengthen the high‑value relationships that fuel our success. This role blends business development, client relations, event coordination, and relationship management , making it ideal for someone who thrives in professional environments and enjoys connecting with influential people.
You’ll be at the center of our relationship‑driven growth engine—representing the firm at events, supporting strategic partnerships, and ensuring our outreach efforts are executed with excellence.
RESPONSIBILITIES Business Development & Relationship Management Conduct outreach to referral sources, professional partners, and high‑value contacts. Maintain consistent follow‑up to nurture long‑term relationships. Host professional lunches and relationship‑building meetings with referral partners and other firms. Engage in high‑end, concierge‑style relationship management, including thoughtful touchpoints (donuts, lunches, small gestures). Track engagement, referrals, and outreach activity using CRM tools and Google Sheets. Represent the firm professionally at firm‑hosted and select external networking events. Support the Owner in executing relationship‑driven growth initiatives.
Event Planning & Execution Assist in planning, organizing, and executing firm events, networking functions, and community engagements. Support high‑end event concierge responsibilities to ensure an elevated experience for high‑value attendees. Coordinate lunches, meetings, and relationship‑building gatherings with other firms. Identify and invite high‑value attendees aligned with firm goals. Manage event communications, RSVPs, reminders, and post‑event follow‑up. Track attendance, engagement, and referrals generated from events. Ensure events attract individuals aligned with the firm’s ideal clientele and lead to new client conversions.
Team Leadership & Collaboration Provide direction and oversight to the Marketing Assistant and Events Concierge. Assign tasks, review execution, and ensure timely completion of marketing and outreach activities. Collaborate on outreach campaigns, newsletters, and event communications. Provide insights on trends, events, and business development opportunities to the Social Media Specialist. Conduct quarterly KPI and performance review meetings for support staff.
Organization & Reporting Maintain accurate contact lists, referral databases, and outreach records. Compile weekly, monthly, and quarterly metrics related to outreach and event performance. Identify opportunities to improve processes, strengthen engagement, and enhance business development outcomes.
QUALIFICATIONS Experience in business development, sales, client relations, outreach, or relationship management (professional services experience preferred). Comfortable communicating with high‑level professionals and high‑net‑worth individuals. Strong outreach, follow‑up, and relationship‑building skills. Familiarity with CRM systems or contact‑tracking tools. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and accountable. Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously with professionalism. Preferred Experience overseeing support staff or vendors. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, PR, or related field. Experience hosting or coordinating events. Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of desk and computer work. Ability to lift up to 15 pounds.
