Sales Territory: Denver, Colorado
Schedule: Monday to Friday, Business Hours
Salary: Base Salary + Lucrative Uncapped Commission Potential
Base Salary: $55,000 - $60,000 + Uncapped Commission Structure
Average Commission Year One: $20,000 - $35,000
Average Commission Year Two: $45,000 - $85,000
The Business Development Manager will focus on driving new customer business within their assigned sales territory. You will play a crucial role in educating prospects about Ryder's value and services and developing tailored sales plans.
Essential Functions:
Develop and implement pre-sales strategies for target accounts while maintaining a robust sales pipeline.
Proactively respond to leads and represent the full range of Ryder services, collaborating with Account Representatives and Customer Development Managers to enhance sales opportunities.
Perform comprehensive needs assessments to identify prospect requirements and developing targeted, value-based proposals.
Collaborate with management to report sales activities and ensure compliance with sales protocols.
Foster effective relationships with internal teams and leverage resources to maximize new customer opportunities.
Engage in ongoing training and development to refine sales skills and enhance industry knowledge.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting or equivalent experience.
A minimum of 5 years in demonstrated sales excellence with a proven track record of quota achievement.
Strong understanding of Ryder's product offerings and services.
Ability to analyze and interpret financial data.

No travel required.
