Business Development Manager for New Solutions - South 1 day ago Be among the first 25 applicants Join to apply for the Business Development Manager for New Solutions - South role at Convatec The Business Development Manager for New Solutions will play a critical role in introducing and driving the success of our innovative technology in the advanced wound care therapeutic area. The role holder will work cross-functionally with Global Marketing, Medical Science Liaison United States (MSL), local Market Access, local commercial organisation including Sales Force Excellence to ensure seamless execution of both commercial and scientific strategies. They will be responsible for developing key stakeholders and key accounts, achieving commercial targets and collaborating with global and local teams to ensure market penetration and long-term success of the platform. They will particularly also focus on engaging with local Key Opinion Leaders (KOL), orchestrate scientific activities including round tables, ad boards and scientific events. This is a highly strategic and dynamic position requiring a deep understanding of the therapeutic area to engage in peer-to-peer conversations with KOLs, paired with strong business acumen. The successful candidate will have exceptional cross-functional collaboration skills to navigate a matrix environment effectively, with the ability to drive results through a blend of scientific and business strategies. Key Responsibilities include: Achieving commercial objectives and KPIs, managing key accounts, collaborating with Sales Force Excellence, supporting clinical evidence generation with MSL, collaborating with Market Access, working with marketing teams, engaging KOLs through educational and scientific events, driving local market strategies, shaping reimbursement and tender landscape, representing the company at scientific events, and supporting localization of promotional materials. Education & Experience required: Bachelor’s or equivalent degree preferably in life sciences, medicine, or related discipline; 5+ years in commercial roles with focus on pharmaceuticals, biotech, or medtech; knowledge in wound care preferred; proven track record with KOLs and senior stakeholders; experience in matrix environment; strong therapeutic area knowledge; commercial mindset; exceptional communication skills; ability to travel 50-75% including overnight trips.
