Position: Capital Sales Executive Our client, a leading company in the construction and mechanical services industry, is offering a rewarding opportunity for a Capital Sales Executive. This company specializes in design-build/engineering services, pre-construction, detailing, BIM, VDC, special projects, plumbing & pipefitting installation, HVAC, & fabrication, and is well-known for its comprehensive benefits packages. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in selling large-scale projects ($5M–$50M).
Key Responsibilities: Sell high-value capital mechanical projects in the $5M–$50M+ range
Targeting general contractors and real estate developers
Generating leads and developing a robust pipeline
Working both in the field (meetings, job sites) and office (coordination, follow-up, strategy)
Proactively identifying and solving issues as a project executive
Understanding local market dynamics and competitors
Handling smaller “special projects” under $2M with potential for growth into larger capital sales
Ensuring punctuality, responsiveness, and professionalism
Qualifications: 5+ years of proven capital sales experience in mechanical, MEP, or heavy commercial construction
Track record of selling projects in the $5M–$50M range
Deep knowledge of the local market and competitors
Outgoing and driven personality with strong business acumen
Comfortable interfacing with executives, developers, and general contractors
Ability to manage complex sales cycles and align internal resources for project success
Willingness and ability to split time between office strategy and field engagement
Strong sense of ownership, follow-through, and executive-level professionalism
