The Role We’re seeking a highly motivated Case Coverage Sales Representative to support our expanding spine implant business in Houston, TX. This remote role requires initiative, independence, and strong communication skills. You’ll provide operating room (OR) case coverage, ensure the safe and effective use of our spinal implant systems, and deliver outstanding support to surgeons, hospital staff, and distributors.
The right candidate will also have the opportunity to grow into an Area Manager role, taking on territory development, sales responsibility, and leadership.
Key Responsibilities Provide intraoperative case coverage for GS Medical spine implant products Serve as a technical expert on products, instrumentation, and surgical techniques Prepare, maintain, and manage surgical trays, implants, and instruments Build strong relationships with surgeons, OR staff, and hospital decision-makers Educate and train medical professionals on product use and best practices Troubleshoot and support case-related needs in real time Partner with the sales team to identify growth opportunities and drive revenue Maintain compliance with hospital protocols, regulations, and company policies Manage accurate case logs, inventory, and reporting
Qualifications 3+ years’ experience in medical device sales, surgical support, or OR case coverage (spine or orthopedics strongly preferred) Background as a PA, Surgical Technologist, or RN with spine implant experience highly valued Strong interpersonal skills with ability to earn surgeon and OR staff trust Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Problem-solver who thrives in fast-paced surgical settings Ability to work independently, remotely and manage a flexible, travel-heavy schedule Bachelor’s degree is preferred (not required with relevant experience)
