Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Catering Sales Manager to lead our hotel’s catering sales efforts. This role is responsible for generating new business, maintaining existing client relationships, and ensuring successful execution of catered events—from weddings and corporate meetings to banquets and special occasions. The ideal candidate combines sales expertise with a passion for hospitality and exceptional service.


Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with corporate, social, and group clients to drive catering sales.

  • Proactively solicit new business through sales calls, networking, and event showcases.

  • Prepare proposals, contracts, and banquet event orders (BEOs) in collaboration with the culinary and banquet teams.

  • Conduct site visits, tastings, and client meetings to ensure satisfaction and seamless event planning.

  • Partner with operations teams to ensure all event details are communicated accurately and executed flawlessly.

  • Achieve and exceed sales goals by maximizing revenue from catering functions and up selling enhancements.

  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities in the CRM system.

  • Participate in marketing initiatives and community events to promote the hotel’s catering services.

  • Stay current on industry trends, local market conditions, and competitor offerings.


Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or related field preferred.

  • Minimum of 2–3 years of catering or event sales experience, preferably in a hotel environment.

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.

  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management abilities.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and hotel sales systems (Delphi, Opera, or similar).

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed.
