What you'll do

We're seeking a full-time Area Sales Professional who is driven, self-motivated, and thrives on building relationships and solving customer challenges. This role is ideal for someone who prioritizes long-term partnerships over one-time sales, and who enjoys seeing a project through from start to finish.

We're looking for a balanced, goal-oriented professional who values collaboration and consistently delivers quality outcomes for both the company and our clients.

The day-to-day

  • Plan and manage a schedule for customer visits and follow-ups
  • Estimate, coordinate, and oversee projects from start to finish
  • Ensure quality and accuracy throughout the project lifecycle
  • Assist in pricing and bid preparation
  • Collaborate with internal teams to complete projects on time and within budget
  • Manage project schedules, documentation, and permits
  • Track and produce change orders
  • Contribute to team goal setting and progress reviews

What you'll need

Required:

  • Proven experience in the construction industry or commercial garage door sales
  • Strong working knowledge of general trades (e.g., carpentry, door/frame/hardware installation, millwork)
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and basic specifications
  • Strong math and measurement skills
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets
  • Solid project management, planning, and problem-solving capabilities
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
  • In-depth understanding of the full construction process
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, using computers, and estimating software

Salary Range

From $75,000.00 per year; At Kodiak Equipment Services, we consider many factors when it comes to compensation, including the scope of the position as well as your background and experience. Base pay may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
