What We're Looking For - Someone who thinks the following is a cake walk: Build and manage an account base within the given territory, inducing both SLED and Enterprise customer base.
Define, develop, and execute strategic capture plan for each major customer with support of Blackwood VP of Commercial Sales
Work in concert with sales operations, PMO, and Engineering teams to develop and drive opportunities
Customer satisfaction focused style with an emphasis on landing and expanding within the territory
Provide timely and accurate forecast updates and execute aggregate plans that deliver target revenue and bookings
Build / Strengthen / Manage Partner (OEM) Relationships
Oversight and management of dedicated Account Executive
Meet/Exceed Quarterly Linearity and Annual Goals
Maintain fluency and remain current on technology / industry trends
Comfortable operating in a hands-off management structure
Conduct yourself in a manner consistent with Blackwood's Core Values and reputation - generating a positive image of our organization to the market
Basic understanding of pertinent State contracts / purchasing vehicles
Basic Qualifications US Citizen
Willingness to permit a Background Check
Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience
Reputation of operating with strong ethics and integrity
Desire and ability to learn new COTS Technologies
Excellent Presentation and Written Communication Skills
Strong Time Management Skills
Passion to Hustle and Have fun
Additional Qualifications 5+ years of experience in B2B Sales
Prior Experience selling Information Technology Products and/or Services
Proven Track Record of Quota Attainment
Familiarity/Background with target accounts preferred.
