Key Responsibilities- Assist walk-in and call-in customers with quotes, product knowledge, and purchase support.- Process sales transactions, including stock and special orders.- Source and quote non-stock items from vendors to meet customer needs.- Schedule and coordinate deliveries to contractor job sites.- Maintain strong, ongoing relationships with current customers while building new business.- Manage pricing, product availability, and delivery timelines with accuracy and efficiency.- Handle returns, resolve issues, and follow up on outstanding items.- Keep sales and customer records organized using internal systems and basic software tools.

Qualifications- 3+ years of experience in contractor sales or building materials industry.- Strong product knowledge of lumber and general building supplies.- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.- Proven customer service skills with a sales-driven approach.- High level of organization, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.- Basic computer proficiency (email, order entry, inventory systems).- High School diploma or GED required.
