:
The Retail Sales Director is responsible for the strategic leadership, direction, and performance of the retail, small business and digital sales at First Horizon Bank. This role will develop and execute the Deliver Excellence strategy to meet or exceed organizational goals, drive client acquisition and satisfaction, and ensure associates are empowered to deliver exceptional value to our clients across all retail channels. Key Responsibilities: Lead, mentor, and develop the retail, small business and digital sales team, fostering a high-performance and client-focused culture among associates.
Create and implement effective retail, small business and digital sales strategies, ensuring alignment with the bank’s overall vision and goals.
Set and monitor sales objectives, consistently reviewing performance metrics and taking corrective actions as needed.
Collaborate with Incentive services, product, digital, and other teams to enhance the client experience and drive business growth.
Oversee talent management including recruiting, onboarding, coaching, and performance evaluations for associates within the retail sales function.
Ensure the highest level of compliance with regulatory requirements and bank policies within all retail sales activities.
Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and remain competitive in retail banking services.
Drive innovative solutions for enhancing client engagement, banking center operations, and omnichannel sales effectiveness.
Serve as a retail sales ambassador within First Horizon Bank and in the financial services community. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
+ years of proven experience in retail banking sales management, with at least years in a senior leadership capacity.
Demonstrated experience leading multi-location retail sales teams and driving significant sales growth.
Strong understanding of banking operations, products, and regulatory requirements.
Exceptional communication, strategic planning, and leadership skills.
