Role: Data Center Sales Specialist – HVAC/Hydronics

Location: Remote

Pay Rate Range: Up to $50,000 - $100,000 base salary + commission

Benefits: The position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).


Overview:

We are looking for a driven and results-oriented Senior Data Center Sales Specialist to spearhead our growth in the mission-critical cooling market. This role is focused on new business development, targeting enterprise data centers, hyperscale operators, and colocation providers who need advanced HVAC and hydronic cooling solutions. You’ll be responsible for opening new doors, building executive relationships, and positioning our company as the go-to partner for efficient, sustainable cooling infrastructure.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospect, identify, and engage new data center customers and strategic partners.
  • Develop go-to-market strategies to expand our footprint in the mission-critical cooling space.
  • Drive the full sales cycle — from cold outreach and networking to contract negotiation and deal closure.
  • Deliver compelling presentations that highlight ROI, performance, and sustainability advantages of our HVAC/hydronic solutions.
  • Build a strong pipeline of opportunities and accurately forecast revenue.
  • Collaborate with internal engineering teams to design solutions tailored to each client’s needs.
  • Maintain competitive intelligence on market trends, customer needs, and competitor offerings.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking forums to generate leads and build brand presence.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of sales experience, with at least 3+ years focused on business development in enterprise or mission-critical markets.
  • Proven track record of winning new accounts and exceeding quotas.
  • Experience selling capital equipment, HVAC, manufacturing, mechanical systems, or infrastructure solutions (data center cooling experience highly preferred).
  • Strong hunter mentality with the ability to independently drive new business.
  • Established relationships with data center operators, developers, and contractors a plus.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and executive presence skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
