Overview of the Design Studio Specialist role You will inspire customers to express themselves in their home. You will assist customers and complete sales at the cash wrap, promoting ongoing engagement and strengthening their connection to our brand. Responsibilities Utilize design expertise to assist clients in store and in-home consultations, driving store sales. Perform in-home consultations, including accurate measurement and assessment of living spaces. Create and present design plans tailored to clients' needs, styles, and spaces. Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions to meet or exceed sales and productivity goals. Assist customers with special services such as gift wrapping, registry, merchandise locating, special and back orders, charge sends, courier deliveries, and furniture orders, adhering to world-class service standards. Demonstrate superior product knowledge of the entire design studio assortment. Criteria Strong communication, clienteling, and follow-up skills. Ability to coordinate complex large orders across sales channels. Design experience preferred. Proven ability to prioritize and multitask. 1-2 years of customer service and retail sales experience; specialty retail experience is a plus but not required. Physical Requirements Mobility on the sales floor for extended periods. Ability to lift and move items up to 75 lbs. safely. Full-time associates should have open availability; part-time associates must be available on weekends and at least two weekdays, with specific scheduling requirements.
