Purpose

As a Sales Representative for Pearson English Language Learning, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and increasing usage of our industry-leading products, platforms, and solutions. This is a field-based, hunter-style sales role where you are energized by uncovering new opportunities, acquiring new accounts, and developing them into long-term, high-value relationships. You are constantly scanning the territory for untapped potential, asking the right questions, and positioning Pearson as a trusted partner.

You are a highly motivated, goal-oriented, and analytically minded individual with strong customer-facing skills. You go above and beyond to understand customer challenges and provide solutions that lead to improved learning outcomes. You apply your knowledge of Pearson's language learning and teaching portfolio to demonstrate the value and continuous innovation of our offerings, helping customers fully leverage our tools to engage and inspire learners.

You are enthusiastic about our mission, passionate about education and technology, and comfortable working toward ambitious growth targets. You thrive in fast-paced environments, are competitive and self-driven, and are not afraid to push past comfort zones. Your ability to build strong, lasting connections with both new and existing Pearson customers will be key to your success. This is a remote/home-based outside sales position with approximately 65% travel, including but not limited to visits to local college and university campuses, private language schools, community-based organizations, conferences, and national meetings. Please note that we do not offer relocation packages for this position. The candidate should be based within the state of New York.

Compensation at Pearson is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific location. As required by the California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York State, New York City, Vermont, Washington State, and Washington DC laws, the pay range for this position is as follows:

Minimum full-time salary range is between $65,000 - $70,000.
