This role is a Director level Technical Sales/Account Management role for a Corporate Account responsible for managing a small team of technical sales engineers covering multiple categories of products and developing and executing an account strategy that delivers consistent revenue growth in excess of company average. This is considered a hands-on player/coach role.

You are best equipped for this task if you have Engineering Degree
12+ years Sales experience, significant experience with Corporate Accounts
5+ years technical sales management experience
Strong technical competence in multiple areas
A demonstrated track record of developing and executing technically oriented sales strategies at Corporate Accounts
High level of business savvy and negotiating skills
Vast network of close, long standing working relationships with customer engineers at different levels across multiple departments
Able to independently recognize obstacles, both internal and external, and quickly adapt strategies and tactics to successfully overcome those obstacles or escalate as needed
Proven management experience in hiring, developing, motivating and retaining high level technical sales teams
The capability to expertly collaborate personally and with his team across multiple disciplines inside the organization
The ability to continually understand, align with where able and execute product line strategies and/or be able to influence those strategies to adapt by building credible and achievable business cases
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Highly professional presentation skills and demeanor
Availability for regular travel, occasionally >40%

The wage range for a qualified candidate in the United States is: Minimum $210,400 per year; Maximum $289,300 per year. All employees are eligible to participate in an incentive plan.
