Director of Sales and Marketing Norwix Inc., a global leader in the development, manufacturing, and sales of industrial printing equipment, is seeking a Director of Sales and Marketing. We are a fast-growing technology innovator dedicated to transforming the printing and coding sector with our advanced TIJ and piezo-based printers and coders. The Director of Sales and Marketing will play a vital leadership role, responsible for developing and executing comprehensive sales and marketing strategies, for National International markets to achieve ambitious revenue targets and increase market share. This individual will lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team, drive brand awareness, and ensure exceptional customer acquisition and retention. The successful candidate will be based at our headquarters in Norwich, CT. This position reports directly to the CEO/President. Job Functions · Lead and manage the sales team, focusing on hiring, training, and performance management. · Establish and develop sales processes and methodologies to optimize sales efficiency and effectiveness. · Monitor sales performance metrics and KPI's , implementing measures to improve productivity and effectiveness. · Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders. · Serve as the lead sales representative for specific larger House Accounts. · Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Marketing, and Production, to align sales efforts with business objectives. · Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote brand awareness and generate leads. · Keep abreast of industry developments, competitor activities, and market trends to inform sales strategies and tactics. · Oversee the design and content of the company website. · Manage all company marketing and promotional programs, including trade shows, direct marketing, Google AdWords, magazine ads, public relations, and more. · Utilize and maintain marketing automation and customer relationship management (CRM) tools to optimize lead generation, nurturing, and conversion. · Assist the Engineering team in new product development by creating high-level specifications and providing market analysis of competitive features, pricing, and capabilities. Requirements · Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. · B2B sales experience · Five years of progressive experience in sales and marketing leadership roles. · Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving significant revenue growth. · Demonstrated experience in developing and executing successful marketing strategies across multiple channels. · Strong understanding of CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and marketing automation platforms. · Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Publisher. · Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. · Ability to think strategically, analytically, and creatively. · Results-oriented with strong business acumen and a solid understanding of financial performance. · Experience in industrial printing and packaging is a strong plus. · Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
