The Director of Sales is responsible for achieving regional sales objectives by leading and managing a team of Area Sales Managers across multiple markets, as well as overseeing the Managers of Client Success to ensure the delivery of best-in-class client experiences where no client is left behind. This role focuses on driving top-line growth through strategic oversight, ensuring exceptional client satisfaction, and leveraging Millennium's resources to exceed expectations at a regional level. By developing and executing a comprehensive yearly regional sales plan and budget aligned with the company's growth objectives, the Director fosters a collaborative and results-driven environment among their leadership team. Key Responsibilities : Leadership & Team Accountability Inspire and Develop : Provide guidance and mentorship to sales and client success managers, fostering a culture of accountability and client-centricity. Performance & Coaching : Conduct regular 1:1s and team meetings to review performance, strategize, and provide feedback, ensuring goal alignment and proactive problem-solving. Strategic Oversight : Evaluate monthly regional performance, recognize successes, identify growth opportunities, and present updates to senior leadership. Revenue Generation & Profitability Drive Growth : Monitor daily sales metrics, provide guidance, and engage with key clients to support high-priority deals. Strategic Revenue Planning : Analyze weekly revenue reports and KPIs to refine growth strategies, optimize pipelines, and ensure competitive pricing. Financial Stewardship : Conduct monthly deep dives into regional profitability and budget adherence, presenting reports and driving mindful spending. Resource Optimization Cross-functional Collaboration : Collaborate with key departments (Finance, Operations, etc.) to ensure seamless execution and resolve bottlenecks. Efficient Utilization : Review resource allocation and budget utilization to enhance operational efficiency and align with revenue goals. Synergy & Feedback : Hold monthly meetings with cross-functional leaders to assess collaboration and identify areas for improvement. Vendor Partnerships Strategic Engagement : Oversee and foster key vendor relationships to maximize partnerships, drive productivity, and leverage support for revenue growth. Enablement : Ensure sales teams receive ongoing training and product updates from vendors to enhance effectiveness. What Will Make You Successful : 10+ years of sales leadership experience, with 5+ managing sales leaders (e.g., Area / District / Regional Sales Managers) Proven success managing multi-location sales teams, owning regional budgets, sales quotas, and performance accountability Strong background in building and leading mid-level managers overseeing Inside and Outside Sales teams Hands-on experience in developing and executing regional sales plans including forecasting, market prioritization, and expense management Deep understanding of structured, metric-driven sales processes and performance coaching Expertise with CRM platforms, including forecasting tools, reporting, and data-driven decision-making Track record of cross-functional collaboration with Finance, Operations, Fulfillment, and Client Success teams Exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills Experience managing vendor relationships and external partnerships Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, or related field preferred Broadband industry experience is a plus, but not required What's in it for you?
