Overview
Are you a dynamic and results-driven sales and marketing professional with a passion for both creativity and strategy? We are seeking aDirector of Sales and Marketing to lead revenue generation, elevate our brand presence, and bring innovative marketing initiatives to life at the Key West Historic Inns Collection.
This role requires a leader who can balance the demands of luxury and leisure, effectively oversee agency partnerships, and drive group business. The ideal candidate is tech-savvy, forward-thinking, and passionate about leveraging digital tools, creative campaigns, and data-driven strategies to attract a diverse range of guests.
We are open to aremote DOSM arrangement; however, preference will be given to candidates who can be present on property as needed to collaborate with our team and connect with the unique spirit of Key West.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to drive revenue, market share, and brand awareness.
Lead and inspire the sales strategy to exceed goals while delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Oversee relationships with agencies and third-party partners, ensuring alignment with brand objectives and ROI.
Manage and grow group, leisure, and luxury segments.
Design and implement innovative, tech-driven marketing campaigns to differentiate our property and engage target audiences.
Collaborate with ownership and corporate resources to create strategies that reflect both the historic character of the collection and the expectations of today’s luxury traveler.
Monitor performance metrics and adjust strategies to ensure ongoing success.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience.
5+ years progressive hotel sales experience.
Minimum 2 years hotel sales leadership experience or equivalent.
Strong background in luxury/leisure sales with proven success in group and agency business.
Demonstrated creativity in marketing and brand development.
Proficiency with major hospitality CRM systems, Microsoft Suite, and digital marketing tools.
Strong contract negotiation and business communication skills.
Established relationships within the agency and travel community preferred.
Confident presence, professional appearance, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
