The Opportunity: Premier Beauty Supply is seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Sales to lead our outside sales team, which includes Account Executives, Regional Sales Managers, and our store network. The primary objective of this role is to manage and drive the sales team to achieve top-line sales goals and effectively execute sales initiatives. Client relationships are at the core of who we are as a company; this role is to help deepen current relationships while fostering and growing relationships with new customers. What Your Impact Will Be: Sales Management : Oversee, motivate and hold accountable the outside sales team to meet and exceed sales targets while fostering a high-performance culture. Sales Strategy Execution : Develop and implement sales strategies that align with company goals to enhance market penetration and revenue growth. Sales Training & Mentorship : Provide comprehensive training and mentorship to team members to enhance their skills, product knowledge, and sales techniques. Client Relationship Building : Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction, loyalty, and retention. Performance Monitoring : Analyze sales metrics and performance data to identify trends, assess team performance, and make informed decisions to drive improvements. Collaboration : Work closely with marketing and education teams to ensure alignment on sales initiatives and promotional strategies. Budget Management: Responsible for best utilizing and keeping within budget for samples, training, travel, entertainment for the sales team. Store Duties: Effective execution of in-store sales plans and store personnel. Other duties as assigned.
What We’re Looking For: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management or related field required. 10 years of continuous Sales experience required. Proven experience in an outside sales team leadership role, preferably within the professional beauty industry. Strong understanding of sales principles, strategies, and customer relationship management. Excellent communication, negotiation, and people skills. Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a diverse sales team Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 Proficient in sales analytics and ERP/CRM software. Beauty industry experience preferred but not required Ability to travel 50% of the time and 50% In Office – Northbrook, Illinois
