THE JOB

The Director of Sales USA Northwest will lead sales operations across the Portland, OR and Auburn (Seattle metro, WA) branches. Reporting directly to the Vice President in Canada, this leader will oversee a team of Account Executives, Account Managers, Sales Coordinators, and Customer Service staff.

The DOS will be charged with turning around an underperforming region, driving profitability, and fostering a high-performance sales culture. This role combines strategic leadership, cultural transformation, and P&L ownership. Success will mean elevating accountability, implementing CRM-driven sales processes, and ensuring consistent new business growth.


THE QUALIFICATIONS

  • 10+ years in sales/operations leadership, preferably in distribution.
  • Packaging, plastics, or adjacent industry experience is a strong plus.
  • Proven track record of P&L ownership and regional sales growth.
  • Experience leading multi-branch or multi-team organizations (~1520 staff).
  • Ability to drive CRM adoption and sales accountability.
  • Skilled in coaching and motivating Account Executives, Managers, and Coordinators.
  • Strong financial acumen (budgeting, forecasting, cost controls).
  • Positive, engaging leadership style with ability to influence resistant staff.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with Canadian HQ leadership.


THE BENEFITS

  • OTE of 134k to 160k
  • Base Salary: $120,000
  • Car Allowance: $10,000 annually
