Job Summary

The Director of Sales is a motivated, results-driven individual with a "hunter" mindset. This person will be responsible for identifying, pursuing, and securing high-value strategic partnerships that drive significant growth at BMG Money. This role focuses on prospecting new opportunities, building relationships with key stakeholders, and negotiating impactful agreements. The ideal candidate is skilled in creating new business opportunities and excels at closing enterprise level deals with C-level executives and decision-makers.

Key Responsibilities

  • In-depth understanding of BMG Money offerings, with the ability to effectively convey the value of BMG Money products and services, explaining their purpose and value.
  • Oversee the full enterprise sales cycle, from prospecting and qualification to negotiation and close.
  • Identify opportunities for new partnerships that enhance product offerings, expand market reach, or generate new revenue streams.
  • Leverage existing relationships to identify new partnership opportunities and accelerate deal cycles.
  • Proactively schedule and lead meetings with C-suite executives and key decision-makers to present partnership opportunities and secure agreements.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key partners during sales process, resolving challenges and maintaining long-term trust.
  • Maintain a goal-oriented approach to all interactions, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and delivering measurable results.
  • Negotiate, structure, and finalize complex partnership agreements, ensuring favorable terms for the company.
  • Draft and review partnership contracts in collaboration with the legal team.
  • Monitor and enforce contractual obligations, ensuring compliance by both parties.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) for meetings, sales, measuring success against objectives.
  • Analyze partnership performance and recommend optimizations or strategic pivots as needed.
  • Report on partnership outcomes to executive leadership and key stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience in enterprise sales (5k+ employees) in the private and/or public sector.
  • Proven track record of developing and managing strategic partnerships that drive revenue growth.
  • Experience with value based selling strategies/products
  • Experience owning the full sales cycle
  • Ability to develop territorial or vertical based demand and GTM strategies
  • Familiarity with employee benefits and financial wellness products/value
  • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate at senior levels.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Prior experience in Fintech or Lending products
  • Proficiency with forecasting, CRM and sales enablement tools
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%
