Additional Information: This hotel is owned and operated by an independent franchisee, Tanis Hospitality Management, LLC. The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International, Inc. The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotel’s employment policies and practices, including hiring, firing, discipline, staffing, compensation, benefits, and all other terms and conditions of employment. If you accept a position at this hotel, you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International, Inc. The Director of Sales will lead the hotel’s sales strategy, driving revenue growth through new and existing client relationships. This role requires a results-oriented leader who can identify opportunities, develop and execute sales plans, and collaborate with hotel leadership to maximize profitability. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the hospitality industry, Marriott brand standards, and experience in corporate, group, and transient sales.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue goals for the hotel. Identify, cultivate, and maintain relationships with key corporate, group, and travel partners. Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities. Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and budgets to hotel management. Execute promotional initiatives and advertising campaigns. Ensure all sales activities adhere to Marriott brand standards and service excellence.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred. Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the hospitality industry, with at least 3 years in a sales role. Proven track record of achieving sales and revenue goals. Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Knowledge of Marriott systems, CRM tools, and sales platforms. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.

The starting salary range for this role is $56,000 annually plus bonus, with the final offer dependent on the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
