Responsibilities Supervise and manage all matters pertaining to Sales & Use Tax, including overseeing audits, claims for refunds, and negotiations of settlements with government authorities. Identify Sales Tax planning opportunities, quantify savings, assess risks, and oversee implementation of state tax savings opportunities. Oversee and manage Sales Tax Reverse Audit Claims projects and determine viability for pursuing with external partners (e.g., PWC). Research, conclude upon, and advise the business on all tax technical matters pertaining to Sales & Use Tax; monitor tax law changes and document changes in memorandums. Identify, measure, and ensure adequate reserves for all tax positions in accordance with FAS 5 standards. Develop staff to assist with negotiation areas of limited exposure, train staff to identify risks, and delegate/oversee work to achieve optimal results. Provide guidance to the business on tax issues and opportunities, supporting overall tax strategy. Qualifications Bachelors Degree in Accounting Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Approximately 10 years of relevant work experience Working knowledge of SAP, Vertex, Excel and Microsoft Word Pay Range The anticipated base salary range for this position is $120,550.00 to $208,200.00. Exact salary depends on experience, skills, education, and location. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. Eligible for participation in bonus programs and share incentive plans.
