Job Title: District Sales Manager
Location: South Plainfield New Jersey (Home Base) & greater New Jersey Area (Field)
Job Type: Full-Time (Monday Friday, 9:00 AM 5:00 PM)

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced District Sales Manager to lead and develop a team of sales representatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, preferably within the healthcare industry. This role requires a dynamic leader who can drive sales, meet targets, and ensure customer satisfaction through strategic planning and effective team management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee, train, and mentor a team of sales representatives to achieve sales goals and business objectives.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Conduct regular in-person training sessions, presentations, and performance reviews for the sales team and clients.
  • Present sales strategies and solutions to employees and clients to strengthen partnerships and increase engagement.
  • Monitor sales performance, analyze data, and adjust strategies as needed to optimize team success.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by maintaining strong client relationships and addressing concerns proactively.
  • Work in-office at the home base in New Jersey for 2-3 days per week and spend the remaining days in the field with sales representatives across Greater New Jersey.
Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree in related discipline.
  • 2+ years of experience in pharmaceutical sales or healthcare environment is preferred.
  • Strong ability to train, coach, and motivate a sales team to exceed targets.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills for both employees and clients.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess performance and drive improvements.
  • Ability to travel across New Jersey on a weekly basis.
  • Conduct field coaching, develop business plans, and ensure alignment across stakeholders.
  • Lead sales training, monitor performance metrics, and drive compliance with company policies.
  • Facilitate team collaboration and share best practices.
  • Identify top-performing representatives for recognition and career growth opportunities.
  • Manage analytics, optimize physician engagement, and support marketing initiatives.
Salary: $70,000 $80,000 plus commission and a travel stipend. Final compensation will be determined by factors such as experience, location, skills, and job-related knowledge.

The salary range listed is an estimate. Pay at Azend Pharma is determined by multiple factors including, but not limited to, a candidates geographical location, relevant education, experience and skills.
