About the Role
The Company is seeking a Divisional VP for the Southeast region to lead a team of annuity External Wholesalers. The successful candidate will be responsible for recruiting, developing, and managing wholesalers to drive sales of annuity products in the independent channel. This role requires a seasoned professional with a strong background in annuity sales management, particularly within the independent channel, and a deep understanding of variable and fixed indexed annuities. The DVP will be tasked with setting and achieving sales goals, managing producer relationships, and operating within an established expense budget. The position demands a high level of organization, the ability to work independently, and the skills to effectively communicate, train, and motivate a team.
Applicants for the Divisional VP position at the company should have a minimum of 15 years of industry experience, with a significant portion spent in the independent channel. The role requires the ability to network with centers of influence, strong presentation skills, and a proven track record in sales. The DVP will be expected to travel weekly with the External Wholesalers, attend various meetings, and maintain a comprehensive business plan for the region. Essential qualifications include life and annuity licenses, as well as FINRA Series 7, 6, 63, and either Series 26 or 24. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, possess exceptional knowledge of annuity products, and be adept at managing a team to meet specific sales goals.
