Hey there, it’s Sam, the Director of Sales Development at Carv. I know the application process can often feel impersonal, so I wanted to leave a quick note on why you should consider joining Carv. Carv’s Mission Simply to make human recruiting again. AI is a major buzzword, we understand that and while its a very competitive market we think by augmenting recruiters to do more candidate focused work we can fundamentally change the way Recruiting is done by Enterprise level companies.
Day to Day For the most part, SDR’s remain the same, Cold Calling, Emailing, Prospecting, LinkedIn - We believe the difference is in the margins, while being consistent and organized are major pluses creativity is essential for an early stage company. Some of our recent initiatives include delivering bagels to local prospects in person, going to trade shows and conferences, sending champagne to new job starters, and soon we will be sending cameo’s to prospects — All of these were SDR driven and you have the same chance to make an impact in this way.
Challenges It’s not all roses though, we understand that. We are in a challenging environment, one where AI is EVERYWHERE and we are trying to do one of the toughest things you can do in sales - break into the US market. This job isn’t for the faint of heart but if you can be successful in a bootstrapped startup your value increases dramatically for the future.
