Join Zuma Vail as our Event Sales Manager . Zuma Vail is opening soon, bringing our world-renowned contemporary Japanese dining experience to the heart of the mountains. We’re now hiring passionate, energetic professionals to join our opening team.
Our Ideal candidate for this position will be responsible for booking, planning, and executing events, while driving sales and ensuring exceptional guest experiences. You will collaborate with chefs, operations leaders, and other team members to seamlessly coordinate events and maintain high standards of service. The Private Events Sales Manager will help oversee the Event process from start to finish.
Main Duties
Your key responsibilities will include:
Book and coordinate events, ensuring all details are accurately captured and executed
Drive event sales through proactive selling, showing, and closing techniques
Develop and implement floor plans for events, ensuring optimal layout and flow
Print and prepare menus, ensuring they meet guest requirements and standards
Attend meetings with chefs, operations leaders, and clients to discuss event details and requirements
Assist with the development and implementation of marketing and outreach strategies to generate new leads
Provide on-site support during events, addressing any issues or concerns that arise
Close out billing for events, ensuring all financial aspects are handled accurately and efficiently
Conduct outreach activities to generate new leads and build relationships with potential clients
What We Look For

1-2 years of experience in event sales, preferably within a restaurant or hotel restaurant environment
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
Proficiency in using event management and sales software
Professional demeanor and appearance, with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required
