Salary: Director of Sales Operations Company Overview: Novick Corporation is a solutions provider that specializes in servicing foodservice clients in childcare centers and educational settings. Members of the team are USDA and CACFP specialists, and work with our childcare partners to provide healthier snack and meal options. Because we specialize in childcare, we have a full range of offerings, including food, cleaning, and paper supplies. Our ancillary services allow us to partner with our clients to help fulfill each individual programs goals for the health of their children. Services include menu planning with our nutritionists, nutritional trainings, portioning and serving guidelines, Serve Safe, inventory and cost control assistance, access to healthier child-friendly products and recipes, and more.

Responsibilities Include: Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth and service expansion. Align departmental goals (business development, IT/Services) with overall company vision. Identify emerging market trends, competitive threats, and new opportunities for innovation. Build and maintain strategic partnerships, client relationships, and vendor alliances. Oversee pipeline development, from prospecting to contract negotiation and closing. Drive revenue growth through new business opportunities, cross-selling, and upselling services to clients. Collaborate with executive leadership to shape organizational direction and priorities. Work with product and service teams to develop, refine, and scale offerings. Evaluate service performance metrics to ensure client satisfaction and operational efficiency. Foster our business culture of teamwork and collaboration with modeling behavior Translate company strategy into actionable initiatives that drive measurable outcomes. Introduce new methods, processes, or technologies that enhance competitiveness. Evaluate potential partnerships, or joint ventures aligned with growth objectives. Champion continuous improvement and organizational agility. Assist Senior Leadership with special projects and initiatives. Identify inefficiencies in workflows and process and collaborate with team to present recommendations Qualifications: Must have bachelors degree and 5-7 years of experience in corporate level management (childcare, distribution or foodservice experience preferred), excellent oral and written communication, highly developed decision-making, superior customer service skills, exceptional team leadership skills, along with a strong background in analysis.
Preferred Experience in creating, developing, and driving sales. Superior communication, time management, organization, and problem-solving skills; proficiency with Office Suite Products, especially Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point. Familiarity with NAEYC, DVAEYC, CCIS; Recipe Conversions and Recipe/Cost Analysis; In-depth knowledge of products, pack-sizes, taste of products; CACFP regulations, CACFP meal patterns and portioning; how to read CN labels; how to read Nutrition labels; knowledge of product formulation sheets; SERV Safe certification.
