Executive Sales Representative As a key member of our sales and advisory team, the Sales Executive (SE) drives new business growth, builds and maintains strong client relationships, and leads strategy for complex accounts. This role combines business development, consultative sales, and collaborative client service leadership. Key Responsibilities Business Development & Relationship Building Proactively identify and cultivate new business opportunities through referrals, industry associations, professional networks, and targeted prospecting.
Develop a network of outside influencers to generate new leads.
Utilize company sales tools, events, and personal connections to expand market presence.
Identify cross-selling opportunities across Gibson practice areas to maximize client value.
Follow up on all leads promptly and manage opportunities through our CRM system.
Maintain an active sales pipeline equal to at least 3× annual sales goals.
Client Relationship & Risk Management Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, collaborating closely with Client Executives, Client Managers, and Account Managers.
Analyze client risk profiles, coverage needs, and program structures; recommend and implement strategic solutions.
Clearly explain coverage terms, program options, and market solutions to clients.
Provide innovative, market-driven solutions to complex risk issues.
Oversee renewal processes, carrier proposals, and market summaries to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
Stay informed on carrier offerings, industry trends, and regulatory changes impacting clients.
Collaboration & Team Support Partner with internal service teams to ensure seamless execution of client deliverables.
Maintain confidentiality and act as a backup for team members when necessary.
Participate in professional development, networking events, and industry activities to maintain and expand your book of business.
Qualifications Required: 5+ years of sales or consulting experience in a professional services industry.
Proven track record in business development and client relationship management.
Insurance industry experience.
Strong presentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
Preferred: Bachelors degree.
CEBS designation.
Life & Health license (or ability to obtain within 60 days).
Experience building and growing a book of business.
Background in insurance sales within an agency, brokerage, or carrier setting.
