To drive significant growth in the U.S. market, our client is seeking a seasoned and forward-thinking Executive Vice President of Sales to lead commercial expansion and build market leadership in the region, particularly in high-growth sectors. Drawing on our client's strong global reputation in advanced joining technology, this role will drive strategic sales and business development, build key customer relationships, develop important strategic partnerships, and pursue substantial business opportunities.
The role is ideal for a sales-driven strategic leader experienced at engaging with global management, mentoring cross-functional teams, and delivering measurable commercial results. Experience in industrial automation, OEM capital equipment, or plastic processing technologies is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities Lead direct sales and business development initiatives with full responsibility for revenue generation, strategic account expansion, and budget management.
Develop and implement short- and long-term commercial strategies aligned with overall corporate objectives.
Identify expansion opportunities across core verticals—automotive, medical, packaging, and electronics—and execute targeted market entry and penetration strategies.
Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and technical conferences to elevate brand visibility and cultivate new business relationships.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Extensive experience in industrial automation, plastics processing, or capital equipment sales involving engineered systems with a deep understanding of key markets, including automotive, medical devices, packaging, and e-mobility.
Proven expertise in technical sales, solution development, and lifecycle support for complex, high-value systems.
Solid background in advanced joining technologies or precision motion control equipment is strongly preferred.
Native or fluent German language proficiency preferred.
Demonstrated success in a highly engineered, industrial B2B environment.
