We are looking for an Insurance Agency Producer who can join our team, with the long-term plan of expanding and ultimately establishing a professional insurance group together. The ideal candidate is a confident, motivated, detail-oriented, and self-reliant person interested in growing our business through exemplary customer service and communication with an ambitious mindset. Agency Producers will be responsible for email correspondence with clients, managing and issuing insurance policies, and quoting for new business.


Responsibilities

Manage email correspondence and follow up with clients as needed

Become familiar with insurance knowledge, terminology, and how to navigate insurance carrier systems

Gather necessary client information and submit insurance applications efficiently

Help clients find the right product/insurance coverage to meet their needs

Educate customers about insurance options and how to protect themselves along with their assets

Work with banks, loan agents, title company officers, insurance underwriters, claim centers, and auto body shops to serve clients


Job Qualifications

proficiency in English required

Full professional proficiency in Mandarin Chinese highly preferred

Strong communication skills with clients and colleagues, particularly when calling over the phone and written communication i.e. emails, text

Able to work in San Ramon office

Willing and quick to learn, with a growth mindset and coachable attitude

Ability to adapt to fast-paced work environments, good time-management skills

Attention to details, organized, and problem-solving skills

Microsoft Office/Google Suite skills

Holds an active CA Property & Casualty license, OR willing to obtain required license with assistance from our District Office reimbursed after successful licensure

Education level Bachelors degree required

Experience with insurance is preferred, prior insurance sales experience is not required

Entry-level full-time, part-time positions also available

Compensation:

Entry Level: $30,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year initially

Experienced/Licensed: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year initially


This position is with a Farmers independent contractor agent, not with Farmers Insurance Group. Employees of Farmers agents must be able to successfully complete any applicable licensing requirements and training programs. Farmers agents are independent contractors who hire their own employees. Farmers agents employees are not employees of Farmers. Agents are responsible for and make all employment decisions regarding their employees.

Responsibilities

Reach out to potential clients, establish rapport, and understand their requirements. Offer suitable insurance plans based on the clients needs and collect information to provide the best solutions. Acquire new clients through new leads as well as cross sell opportunities and build strong relationships that will contribute to the growth of the Agency insurance business.
