Summary:
We are looking for a talented and competitive team member who thrives in a fast-paced, complex sales environment with a high level of drive to excel while sharing a willingness to learn amongst a larger sales group. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter capable of managing multiple work streams. This entry-level role will provide comprehensive exposure to the ADM Fertilizer business unit and develop skill sets that can be universally applied across ADM.
Key Responsibilities: The individual will be responsible for servicing and selling fertilizer to an existing customer segment, supporting our value-added portfolio, and positively influencing the customer buying experience. This role will help drive growth and margin expansion within the business unit, while providing a solid career foundation for the incumbent to build upon.
Direct sales-related activity:
Managing new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound communication while promoting the entire ADM Fertilizer portfolio for all targeted market segments.
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and objectives.
Develop rapport with the broader sales team while identifying the appropriate placement for new customer leads based on the overall sales opportunity.
Maintain working relationships and act as the sales agent for many existing ADM Fertilizer customers in both the US and Canada.
Supporting ADM's value-added portfolio:
Identify new business opportunities and potential customers to promote ADM's value-added portfolio.
Prepare a targeted approach and process to execute sales leads and prospect opportunities effectively.
Own the internal value-add and micro product integration process for all new products.
Drive revenue growth by identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts.
Support customer engagement and experience:
Work alongside ADM Fertilizer's support team and handle various work streams as designated to help positively influence ADM customer relations.
Aid in the sales process for strategic accounts.
Partner with adjacent procurement, logistics, and support teams to deliver a best-in-class buying cycle.

Education : Pursuing a 4-year degree in business or agriculture

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.
If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
The pay range for this position is expected to be between:
