Overview Field Marketing Associate - Apartment and Builder Sales role located in Houston, Texas. This position involves meeting with multi-family property managers and homebuilders on-site to provide information and support that promotes TXU Energy to residents and homebuyers as they make electricity purchasing decisions. The associate will also help develop programs across other Vistra Energy brands. Responsibilities Help develop multifamily programs for all brands within the Vistra portfolio. Complete on-site field marketing visits as needed to effectively promote retail brands to multi-family residents and homebuyers under the Partner Marketing Agreements. Launch new accounts by training and educating property management and homebuilder staff on best practices and benefits of products and services. Document site visits and capture competitive intelligence. Provide partners and site management with results and drive higher enrollments via marketing contests as necessary. Review and update system information for accuracy and update customer contact and company data. Maintain and adapt sales approaches and present different marketing pitches depending on market conditions. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. 2+ years experience with customer contact or sales experience. 1+ years' experience in multi-family preferred. Background in property/apartment leasing, property management, real estate, calling on builders, and/or marketing. Experience in client presentations. Excellent verbal, written and analytical skills. Professional demeanor and strong work ethic. Ability to solve problems guided by organizational policies and goals. Ability to work independently as part of a sales and marketing team. Ability to negotiate and overcome customer resistance to marketing visits. Travel required: 25% for meetings and corporate events. Must live in or near the center of Houston, TX. Compensation Strong base Uncapped Commission 401K matching Additional Information Base pay range: $52,000.00/yr - $56,000.00/yr. Additional compensation types include Commission.
