Colton RV & Marine is booming, and we’re looking for a Finance Sales Assistant who’s ready to be a vital part of our fast-paced, customer-focused team. In this key role, you’ll keep our sales-to-delivery process running like clockwork; managing compliance paperwork, assisting with unit titling and registration, and ensuring every deal is processed with accuracy and efficiency.


You’ll work closely with customers, lenders, and internal teams to make sure every transaction is smooth, professional, and memorable. Beyond the numbers, you’ll also get hands-on with dealership events, shows, and travel arrangements supporting exciting on-site and off-site activities that keep our business growing.

Key Responsibilities Include:


Finance & Compliance Support

  • Prepare and review all compliance paperwork for the sale of RVs and boats, ensuring accuracy and adherence to dealership, state, and lender requirements.
  • Process and track titling and registration for all sold units, ensuring timely completion.
  • Assist with lender submissions, follow-ups, and resolving any conditions to get deals funded.
  • Conduct first-turn customer introductions when needed, explaining financing options and required documentation.
  • Sign bank paperwork with customers as authorized, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Develop and maintain an understanding of all backend protection products (service contracts, roadside, tire/wheel, etc.) to assist in presenting them when necessary.

Customer & Sales Support

  • Maintain clear communication with customers regarding required documents and the finance process.
  • Assist with scheduling and coordinating delivery appointments.
  • Provide support to sales staff in gathering necessary deal documents before handoff to finance.

Event & Administrative Support

  • Assist the Sales Manager with the setup, coordination, and tear-down of RV/marine shows, off-site sales events, and on-site dealership events.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements for team members as needed.
  • Support dealership marketing and promotional activities during events.

Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with the Finance Manager, Sales Manager, and Sales Team to ensure a seamless sales-to-finance process.
  • Partner with office administration for deal processing and accounting compliance.

Metrics for Success:

  • Accurate and compliant deal documentation with minimal errors.
  • Timely funding of deals and resolution of lender conditions.
  • Positive customer feedback on the finance process.
  • Effective support in dealership events and sales activities.
Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • College Degree preferred
  • Previous administrative experience ideal; preferred experience in RV, marine, or automotive finance/sales support.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of titling and registration processes for RVs and/or boats is a plus.
  • Notary Public, required; if you do not have, will provide time to obtain during the first 90 days of employment
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends during events and peak seasons.
  • Computer proficient; preferred experience with dealership management software, Microsoft Office Suite, and digital documentation tools.
