Job purpose
The Sales Team Administrator plays a critical supporting role in ensuring the smooth execution of sales operations and cross-functional projects. This role is responsible for managing item setup across retailer portals, coordinating dieline and packaging assets, maintaining accurate product data through platforms such as 1WorldSync, and providing essential project coordination support.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, adaptable, and skilled at balancing multiple priorities across both internal and external stakeholders. This role is best suited for a self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and experience in consumer packaged goods (CPG) or retail environments.
Duties and Responsibilities
Retailer Portal Management
- Manage item setup and content uploads across major retailer portals (e.g., Walmart, Target, Amazon).
- Ensure data accuracy and compliance with each retailer's requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve portal-related issues in collaboration with sales and IT teams.
Item Setup and Maintenance
- Create, update, and maintain accurate product listings including item numbers, UPCs, pricing, and attributes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather required data.
- Upload and maintain data in systems such as 1WorldSync, GS1, and internal databases.
Dieline and Packaging Coordination
- Coordinate dieline files and packaging artwork flow between internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Ensure dielines meet retailer and regulatory specifications.
- Support packaging change management and version control.
Project and Timeline Management
- Track and manage project timelines for product launches, promotions, and sales initiatives.
- Communicate deadlines, monitor deliverables, and follow up with stakeholders.
- Provide updates and documentation for internal meetings.
- Support non-sales projects (e.g., executive special projects such as office or interior design).
Sales Support and Documentation
- Maintain and update sales documents, sell sheets, line reviews, and presentation decks.
- Prepare and support presentations for retailer meetings, trade shows, and internal planning sessions.
- Assist with forecasting accuracy, Compass reporting, and flash deck updates.
- Provide administrative support as needed to sales and marketing teams.

Qualifications
Required:
- 2–4 years of experience in sales support, retail operations, or sales administration.
- Working knowledge of retailer portals and item setup processes.
- Experience with 1WorldSync, GS1, or other product data synchronization tools.
- Familiarity with dielines, packaging workflows, and version control.
- Strong project coordination skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
Preferred:
- Experience in CPG, food & beverage, personal care, or retail industries.
- Exposure to EDI platforms, PIM systems, or project management software (Smartsheet).
- Cross-functional experience with sales, creative, operations, and supply chain teams.
Working Conditions
- Must be available to work overtime, weekends, or holidays as necessary.
- Requires a mix of desk work and facility walkthroughs.
- Ability to stand, sit, walk, lift up to 50 lbs unassisted, and perform general mobility tasks.
- Compliance with safety protocols, PPE requirements, and workplace ergonomics.
- Must be an avid Safety Champion and adhere to all safety programs and procedures
Physical Requirements When on Production Floor
- A non-slip resistant work shoe
- Hair restraint, beard net (if needed), and Safety gloves as needed
- All required PPEs are worn properly when working with equipment or chemicals that require personal protection
- Position requires the ability to: stand, sit at a desk, walking around the facility, lifting and carrying up t0 50-LBS unassisted, reaching, kneeling, crawling, and twisting
- Also requires the ability to: see, hear, and communicate with associates as well as others by utilizing professional etiquette
