We are seeking a highly experienced Sales Manager with 5+ years of proven experience in foodservice or commercial kitchen equipment sales. This role is responsible for leading, coaching, and managing a team of sales representatives, holding them accountable for results, driving revenue growth, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction. The Sales Manager will also recruit, hire, and train new sales reps to expand the team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership & Accountability – Manage a team of sales representatives, set clear goals, track performance, and hold team members accountable for achieving targets.

  • Sales Strategy & Execution – Develop and implement sales strategies for commercial kitchen equipment, foodservice equipment, cooking equipment, refrigeration units, dishwashing equipment, prep tables, and other foodservice solutions to drive revenue growth.

  • Hiring & Training – Recruit, hire, and onboard new sales representatives; provide ongoing coaching and training on product knowledge, consultative selling, territory management, and pipeline development.

  • Performance Monitoring – Conduct regular performance reviews, identify areas for improvement, and implement action plans to enhance productivity.

  • Mentorship & Development – Mentor team members on B2B sales techniques, proposal development, customer relationship management, and navigating complex bid/RFP processes.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration – Work closely with operations, design, and logistics teams to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction.

  • Market & Product Expertise – Maintain deep knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment, restaurant and institutional foodservice solutions, and industry trends.

  • Reporting & Forecasting – Provide accurate sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and performance reports to senior leadership.

Qualifications
  • Required Experience

    • 5+ years of proven experience in foodservice equipment or commercial kitchen equipment sales.

    • Prior experience managing a sales team.

    • Experience recruiting, training, and developing sales representatives.

  • Sales & Leadership Skills

    • Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring abilities.

    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

    • Ability to manage multiple priorities, monitor performance, and drive results.

  • Travel

    • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with team members, clients, and attend trade shows or industry events.
