Your responsibilities will include: Engaging with pet parents both in-person and online to enhance their shopping experience. Greeting customers warmly and addressing their inquiries throughout the store. Preparing online orders for efficient in-store pickup. Caring for store-owned pets, including feeding, cleaning, and ensuring their habitats are maintained. Upholding cleanliness and safety standards throughout the store. Assisting with pricing changes and product displays. Recommending and selling merchandise, services, and live pets. Administering medications to store-owned pets as needed. Promoting special events like adoption weekends and community charity gatherings. Taking immediate action to ensure the health and safety of pets and customers. Collaborating with team members in all areas of the store as required. Contributing to a culture of belonging and recognition. Adhering to all company policies and procedures. Qualifications Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Flexible schedule with availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ability to maintain composure under pressure. Physical Demands and Environment Traits such as standing, walking, and occasionally climbing ladders are part of the job. Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly and assist with heavier items as necessary. Exposure to moderate noise, pet hair, and live animals is common.
