General Manager / Head of Sales and Corporate Development North America General Manager / Head of Sales and Corporate Development North America Our client is a well-established European company specializing in adhesive application systems, components, and services for hot-melt and cold glue technologies. Serving industrial clients in furniture production, wood processing, as well as in the food and packaging industries, they offer high-performance machines, spare parts, and adhesive components. Their services include hot-melt system overhauls, melt unit and hose maintenance, and rapid fault diagnostics—ensuring reliable and efficient adhesive operations. As they expand into the U.S. market, our client is looking for an experienced General Manager / Head of Sales and Corporate Development to lead this strategic initiative. This role presents a unique opportunity for a results-driven professional to build and scale the company’s U.S. commercial operations from the ground up. The position involves full responsibility for driving revenue growth, establishing and executing sales strategies, and developing the organization’s local footprint to maximize market share and profitability. Key Responsibilities: Lead and build U.S. commercial operations in alignment with company goals, working closely with executive management in Germany. Support the development and execution of mid- and long-term strategic plans to meet or exceed business objectives. Establish scalable processes and structures to drive growth in market share, revenue, and profitability. Create and implement sales strategies tailored to U.S. market conditions and channel performance. Monitor industry trends to identify growth opportunities. Target key markets and clients, leveraging industry connections to expand business. Acquire new key customers while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients and partners. Manage relationships across multiple levels and functions. Collaborate with headquarters and international teams on sales planning, forecasting, key accounts, and market insights. Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and other events. Perform additional duties as needed.
