What We Are Looking For:
indiGO Auto Group is seeking a full-time General Sales Manager to join our Porsche St. Louis team. We're looking for a dynamic leader with a strong pre-owned background who can take our sales operations to the next level. Here Is What An Ordinary Day Of Work May Look Like:
- Lead, coach, and support the sales team daily, assisting with active prospects and prospecting strategies for future business.
- Manage both new and pre-owned vehicle sales desks, ensuring a client-focused, efficient, and professional process.
- Monitor and manage vehicle inventory levels, including ordering, allocation, aging, and market positioning.
- Implement and utilize market-based pricing tools to remain competitive and maximize profitability.
- Oversee consistent and accurate use of the CRM system, ensuring all client opportunities and follow-ups are documented and executed.
- Conduct and assist in weekly sales training sessions focused on sales processes, product knowledge, customer satisfaction, and brand standards.
- Collaborate with the Business Office to ensure all required documentation and deal paperwork is prepared accurately and in compliance with dealership and manufacturer standards.
- Track, analyze, and report daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance to the General Manager.
- Partner with the Service and Parts departments to maximize cross-department opportunities and deliver a seamless client experience.
The Opportunity Is For You If You Have:
- Minimum of two years of pre-owned vehicle sales management experience; luxury automotive dealership experience is strongly preferred.
- Proven track record of success in automotive sales leadership with the ability to inspire, motivate, and hold others accountable.
- Excellent verbal communication, math, and leadership skills (may be tested and evaluated).
- Strong organizational skills with dedicated attention to detail.
- Proficiency with CRM platforms and dealership management systems (DMS).
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and commitment to delivering an exceptional client experience.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze market trends, financials, and performance metrics.
- Willing to submit to a drug test and criminal background check.
