Sales Outfitter The Sales Outfitter performs various Selling / Customer Service activities, including greeting and acknowledging all customers in a prompt and friendly manner, handling merchandise with care, and providing information, assistance, and direction to customers. Essential functions include supporting a strong commitment to world class customer service, demonstrating products to customers, replenishing product on shelves, remaining a product expert, remaining knowledgeable of advertised sales, assisting with seasonal floor merchandise moves, restocking merchandise, keeping work areas clean, and following all company policies and procedures. The Sales Outfitter provides a legendary experience for every customer by assisting them in making buying decisions, identifying and evaluating customers' needs, making product recommendations, and promoting programs such as CLUB Membership, VOC, and In-Store Pick-up. Experience/qualifications include a minimum high school education or equivalent experience, ability to calculate figures, communicate in a friendly and professional manner, establish and maintain effective working relationships, operate a Point of Sale register system, and meet physical requirements such as standing, walking, ascending or descending ladders, communicating, operating machinery, and lifting objects. Independent judgment is required to perform tasks under general supervision, choose from limited alternatives to resolve problems, and make recommendations to work procedures, policies, and practices.
