Base pay range $50.00/hr - $65.00/hr Overview We’re looking for a strategic and execution-oriented Head of Marketing to lead all facets of marketing and sales enablement. You’ll develop the annual marketing strategy and manage hands-on execution with support from a small team, contractors, and agency partners. This role blends content, demand generation, performance marketing, and technology to drive business development, booked calls, and bottom-line revenue. This is a senior role, reporting directly to the CEO, with the opportunity to lead our growth function end-to-end — from brand to lead to customer. Core Responsibilities Strategic Leadership & Planning Own annual and quarterly marketing plans tied directly to company growth goals. Create and manage the marketing budget, including forecasting, ROI tracking, and cost-benefit analysis. Manage and mentor a part-time Content Manager and other contractors (ads, video, design, etc.). Drive cross-functional collaboration with Sales and Executive teams. Research and implement emerging marketing and sales technologies. Identify new customer segments and develop strategies to reach them. Sales Enablement & Business Development Develop sales collateral, pitch decks, case studies, and playbooks for the sales team. Align closely with sales to improve lead quality, conversion, and close rates. Leverage tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator and automation to enhance outbound strategies. Build scalable lead generation campaigns designed to get prospects to book meetings. Implement modern, non-intrusive selling strategies (social media selling > cold calls). Support outreach and inbound strategies that drive sales-qualified leads. Campaign Execution & Optimization Oversee multi-channel campaigns across Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, organic social, and email. Use video, blog, and landing page content to build trust, engage prospects, and convert. Run paid advertising and retargeting campaigns with agencies and in-house team. Build full-funnel marketing programs (awareness through conversion). Own performance marketing strategy and oversee day-to-day execution and testing. Reporting & Metrics Create dashboards and reports that tie marketing activity to booked meetings and revenue. Analyze and improve campaign performance (clicks, conversion, MQLs, SQLs, ROI). Track lead sources and full lifecycle attribution using analytics tools. Regularly present actionable insights to leadership. Tools & Technologies Wix, ActiveCampaign, Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Descript, Canva, Trello, Calendly, YouTube, Google Analytics, Google Drive, CloudHQ, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and automation tools (e.g., Zapier or similar). Qualifications 7+ years of experience in B2B marketing, preferably in HR tech, HCM, recruiting, or SaaS. Proven ability to drive measurable lead generation and revenue impact. Deep knowledge of B2B buyer journeys, funnel management, and digital lead generation. Strong understanding of sales processes, CRM tools, and how marketing feeds sales. Experience managing external vendors and internal contributors. Clear communicator with strong writing and leadership presence. Passion for trying new tools and tracking industry trends. Bonus: Experience with partner marketing, reseller programs, or channel enablement.
