About the Role
The Company is seeking a Head of Sales and Marketing to lead its next chapter. The ideal candidate is a strategic, data-driven, and consultative leader with a proven track record in sales and marketing. This role demands a servant leader who can build trust, inspire a team, and drive growth and market expansion. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and executing a strategic sales and marketing plan, owning the numbers, and ensuring cross-functional alignment to support the company's growth vision. Key responsibilities include leading with a consultative mindset, building strong cross-functional relationships, and serving as a strategic partner to the leadership team. The Head of Sales and Marketing will also be tasked with driving the sales and marketing functions to be more data-driven and high-performing, and with empowering the marketing function to ensure lead generation is in line with the sales strategy.
Applicants for the Head of Sales and Marketing position at the company should have a minimum of 3 years' experience as a Sales and Marketing Director in a company with a revenue of $10M–$50M and 50+ employees. A background in technical B2B sales, strong financial acumen, and a proven ability to lead a sales team with measurable revenue growth are essential. The role requires a leader who is adept at using data to drive decisions, is familiar with consultative and long-cycle B2B sales, and has experience in expanding into larger markets. The candidate should be a confident, yet humble, leader, and be able to balance the art of motivating people with the science of achieving targets. A collaborative and competitive spirit, along with the ability to adapt and respect existing processes while driving new approaches, is also necessary.
