We are looking for a Head of / VP Sync Sales to join UnitedMasters. This role is Hybrid: four days in office and one day remote.
What You\'ll Do
- Build and scale a high-performing, results-driven go-to-market team to consistently exceed revenue targets and drive business growth.
- Formulate and evangelize a product vision, strategy, and narrative that will unlock the next stage of growth within UnitedMasters Enterprise Sync Business, with a specific focus on the Advertising, Sports, Publishing, and Media verticals.
- Create and execute go-to-market strategy for UnitedMaster\'s Sync business, including OKR development and sales tactics that lead to measurable results.
- Track team KPIs to ensure success against goal achievement and communicate progress to management
- Utilize existing network to secure new Enterprise customer accounts and strengthen the company\'s presence in the market.
- Lead narrative, pitch development and deal shaping, crafting programs powered by UnitedMasters artists that solve client\'s music needs and set new standards for the business moving forward.
- Establish the brand and serve as a prominent voice in the sync and brand partnership community through impactful marketing and standout presence at leading industry events.
- Partner with Product, Marketing, and Music Label teams to analyze market trends, deepen understanding of customer needs, refine unique selling propositions and continually improve messaging.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Proven ability to navigate complex organizational structures to land enterprise deals that require sign off from various stakeholders.
- Proven understanding of trends and dynamics amongst content organizations across advertiser and agency industries.
- Proven ability to set goals and build a team that establishes a strong market presence and revenue.
- You hold yourself and others accountable; you effectively direct, motivate, develop and enable your team to deliver results, even under tough circumstances.
- You develop your team members to meet both career and company goals
- You have a track record in building culture, process and cross-functional collaboration to enable business success.
- Ability to travel and host events to nurture and deepen client relationships.
Minimum Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience and extensive relationships selling campaign-based and/or subscription based solutions in complex Enterprise environments to Creative / Content / Marketing departments.
- Substantial network of contacts across Creative / Content / Marketing landscapes in Advertising, Sports, Digital Publishing, or Media within the US with a proven track record closing deals.
- Proven experience building, coaching and managing a sales team of 10+ individuals
- You have a track record of leading and developing teams that consistently beat goals and set records.
- Passionate about all genres of music and constantly evaluating new trends in the every-changing music landscape
- Familiarity with the complexities of music licensing. Has a distinct point of view on where the creative industry is heading and how UnitedMasters build sustainable competitive advantages.

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor\'s degree in Business, Marketing, Music Industry, or a related field.
- Mastery of CRM software, such as Hubspot or Salesforce
- Deep experience in selling Music to Creative Teams with a track record of success

Brands like Diageo, Ally, and ESPN come to UnitedMasters to partner with these artists and play a role in moving culture forward. UnitedMasters has raised $170M to date and is backed by Andreessen Horowitz, Apple, Alphabet (Google), and Disney amongst others. Our artists have used the platform to land sync deals with major brands including the NBA, ESPN, Overtime Elite, Bose, Warner Brother Studios and NBA2k.
Salary Hiring Range: $200,000 - $240,000
Individual pay rate decisions are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at the company.
