Position The VP of sales our client is responsible to drive and lead this business to its overall success. The role is accountable for growing the business and the successful execution of it, including identification of key gaps to ensure the continual development of the business. The role is also ultimately responsible for the leadership and direction of the team. This position reports in tandem directly to the CEO, CSO & and President. The role will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales initiatives to drive revenue growth and expand our market brand presence. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of success in sales leadership within the construction industry Attendance to all key functions within the industry including representing the client and engage with our key industry
Ensure overall training requirements such as sales meetings, client meetings, and debrief sessions are held, attended and understood by all required staff Build new client relationships through proactive marketing, in-person sales calls, and networking. Conduct monthly marketing activities to identify potential clients. These include industry events, Happy Hours, in person visit and anything else that will lead to more opportunity. Collaborate with clients in order of priority - In person, Teams/Zoom, Via phone or by email as a last resort. All Lead, inspire and coach the extended team to ensure the continual growth of the business.
Qualifications: 5+ years of relevant professional experience Background in construction industry essential Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and empower teams. Experience and demonstrates understanding of work health & safety practices, legislation, regulations & current market rates/trades Have a sales background Have a valid driver's license Have competent skills including Microsoft suite .
