Skandinavia Contemporary Interiors is searching for full-time home furnishing sales/interior designers who are outgoing, enthusiastic and have a passion for design and quality - helping our customers create the perfect feel and atmosphere in their homes while maintaining high customer service standards.
Requirements:
- Take a consultative selling approach to building customer relationships as you help prospective buyer's select home furnishing pieces that best suit their needs. Meet and exceed your monthly sales goals.
- Build your business by prospecting with new and existing customers.
- Develop and maintain expert product knowledge on all of our merchandise.
- Demonstrate design skills, professional communication, and follow-up skills.
- Energy, enthusiasm, and patience backed by an entrepreneurial spirit.
- Maintain the appearance of the store at all times.
- Attend and participate in weekly store meetings and individual meetings.
- Develop expert knowledge of our procedures and computer systems.
- Must have excellent listening skills and the ability to work independently and as a team.
- Collaborate on posts for social media.
Skills/Talents Required: Flexibility to work a retail schedule that includes nights, weekends, and holidays
- Bachelor's degree preferred; HS Diploma required.
- Minimum 2 years of proven retail sales/customer service -furniture experience preferred. High-end apparel and luxury retail sales experience considered.
- Exceptional sales and customer service skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communications.
- Bilingual a plus.
- Be able to lift 25 pounds.
- Ability to work well in a team concept and on your own.
- Optimistic, outgoing and an energetic personality.
