The Home Modification Sales Specialist is responsible for sales, customer, and vendor relations, and developing competitive market intelligence. Finding the proper solution that best fits our clients needs and installing the equipment.
Essential Job Functions and Duties: Acquire and maintain adequate product knowledge. Read and complete tasks as communicated through written service orders. Install adaptive equipment, ensure quality installations, and demonstrate product usage to the customer. Maintain and repair equipment and adaptations that have been previously installed. Troubleshoot and identify problems with equipment and/or adaptations. Complete all jobs within acceptable time limits. Generate and maximize sales volume. Maintain effective customer follow-up procedures. Understand selling and utilize the selling process, following MobilityWorks established sales systems. Conduct in-home needs and site analysis to prepare and provide quotes for clients in a complete, accurate, and timely manner. Assist clients in securing all desired information.
Position Qualifications and Entrance Requirements: Solid electrical/wiring experience. Low-voltage electrical experience required. General construction experience required. Experience reading blueprints/schematics is preferred. High school diploma or GED required. Interact with all types of people. Excellent customer service skills and experience is required. Solid verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with clients and staff are required. Experience working independently with minimal supervision is required. Candidates must successfully complete criminal and motor vehicle background check and pre-employment drug screening. Have 2-5 years outside sales experience, preferably with stair lifts, platform lifts, patient lifts, etc. Proven experience in B2C sales preferred. Be willing to travel throughout assigned territory regularly. Be able to complete paperwork accurately and in a timely manner. Be a team player with strong work ethic with a strong record of achievement and drive to succeed. Take initiative to increase revenue with minimal guidance. Possess computer skills, including Outlook, and Excel. Demonstrate professional personal and business behavior. Attend required training and certification. Love what they do, are passionate about customer service, quality work and meeting the needs of customers. Experience in the construction field is highly desired.
