Our Candidate will effectively source out new clients; Continue relationships with current clients and identify new business from a result of the relationship; Possess the ability to actively sell using a "grass roots" sales mentality; Use the tools provided to prospect, identify and close new business; Work with the Director of Sales to achieve required sales goals; Have current knowledge of hotel rates, strategies, discounts, and promotions; Respond to all sales inquiries, RFP's and other leads accurately, timely and in a professional manner; Type correspondence, reports, and necessary forms i.e. contracts, as well as prepare proposals or other letters as directed; Other duties as determined by hotel management. Four (4) plus years of group selling with a proven track record in hospitality Branded hotel experience preferred; Hilton Develop and maintain relationships with Hilton Worldwide Sales team Knowledge of and PEP preferred Complete required Sales Reports on time Ability to read and decipher financial reports and records Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to travel if needed Valid Driver's License required Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed based on business volumes Maintain a strong relationship with internal teams All other duties as assigned Ability to attend local and regional industry events and tradeshows Job Type: Full-time Schedule: · Monday to Friday Weekend availability Job Type: Full-time Pay: $65, $70,000.00 per year Benefits: Dental insurance Employee assistance program Employee discount Flexible schedule Flexible spending account Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Retirement plan Vision insurance Work Location: In person
