Responsibilities
The Inside Sales Intern will play a key role in supporting strategic sales initiatives by collaborating across departments to enhance forecasting accuracy, identify new market opportunities, and contribute to product development efforts. This internship offers a hands-on experience in sales analytics, market research, and product strategy, providing valuable exposure to cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Planning, Product Development, and Marketing teams. This internship is ideal for a high-energy, detail-oriented individual pursuing a career in sales, marketing, or product strategy. This role is onsite in Evansville IN.
Collaborate with Sales and Planning teams to analyze actual sales vs forecast, then identifying efficient means to improve forecast accuracy.
Work closely with Sales, Product Development, and Product Line Management, in an effort to identify new product markets/opportunities for our sales team to focus on.
Establish our value proposition for new markets identified, and clearly outline that value for each item/market.
Participate in the development of product portfolio.
Work in partnership with Product Marketing to identify new and existing market growth opportunities, and assist in the creation of a product strategy related to new market opportunities.
Qualifications
Pursuing a degree in Sales, Commercial, Marketing, Engineering, or relatable field
Must possess excellent communication and analytical skills
Must have a positive attitude
Ability to prioritize tasks and handle numerous assignments simultaneously
Proficient in Microsoft Office and internet applications
Must be high-energy, detail oriented with excellent organizational and follow-up skills.
Strong listening, communication, and interpersonal skills, both written and oral.
