SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for managing assigned Inside Sales accounts within our Trade Division. This role is the primary contact for assigned accounts over telephone, email and web chat. This individual will manage daily account activities and be responsible for the execution of sales plans and the attainment of quarterly and annual sales targets.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Generates revenue by soliciting orders, understanding and interpreting customer’s requirements, providing product information, and developing Inside Sales accounts
Answer inbound calls, emails and web chat requests
Conduct outbound call blitz and email blasts to current and prospective customers
Researching, developing and qualifying prospective new customer leads
Product up-sell, cross-sell, or substitution opportunities as identified
Overcoming technical and business objections of current and prospective customers
Coordinating with outside sales representatives to keep account activities and awareness of new product and policies up to date
Achieve budget targets for assigned accounts
Support the Inside Sales Team in achieving team sales targets
Be the voice of the customer and resource for LEDVANCE associates for all assigned accounts
Create sales plans to attain assigned annual targets
Build professional relationships within LEDVANCE and with assigned accounts
Anticipate and address issues as they arise and resolve in a professional manner
Office administrative duties, including welcoming guest and signing for deliveries
Perform all other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
Demonstrated successful track record managing, building and maintaining solid relationships with outside contractors and/or vendors. Proven success in effectively managing through influence and directly by prioritizing tasks for both self and team to meet business requirements and deadlines
Ability to solve complex problems for issue resolution; creatively and resourcefully resolve elevated issues while applying sound judgment and accountability.
Strong relationship-development skills resulting in long-term, mutually beneficial client relationships.
Self-motivated; able to work both independently to complete tasks and respond to department requests, as well as collaborating with others to utilize resources and knowledge of others in identifying quality solutions.
Ability to work in a time-sensitive and high-volume environment.
Ability to drive work both independently toward the successful attainment of department goals and project completion dates, and as part of a team to leverage input and knowledge base of others within the company in providing well rounded and thoughtful information and solutions.
Ability to work with functional groups and different level of employees throughout the LEDVANCE organization to effectively and professionally achieve business results
Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively
Strong organizational, planning, and project management skills. Ability to accomplish multiple tasks within the agreed upon timeframes through effective prioritization of duties and functions in a fast-paced environment
Successful Inside Sales Representatives are enthusiastic, learn their products' features, and skillfully turn these features into benefits for their customers
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Associates Degree or Higher
Prior Sales or Customer Service Experience Required. Preferred candidate will have a minimum of 3 yrs construction industry experience, otherwise 5 yrs exp.
Salesforce.com or other CRM software experience required
OTHER:
Work sponsorship and/or relocation are not available with this position
Domestic travel of up to 10% for training and meetings
Position may have upward mobility to an Outside Sales Rep role
